What we believe.

At DevoLink, what we believe drives what we do. Belief drives behavior and is thus critical to everything.

The following is not an exhaustive theology but an anchor to tell you what matters to us at DevoLink, why we do what we do and whether you want to fit here or not. Please determine your involvement based on our theology and our lives.

Scripture:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

The Trinity:
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ:

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning *death, through His shed *blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit:

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

Salvation:

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. That we are called to repent and turn to God for salvation. That God loves sinners and died to save us.

The Church:

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. That a believers involvement in a local church is expected and necessary for growth in Christ. We believe that online ministries, like DevoLink, are important to the growth of believers but cannot and should not replace active involvement in a local church.
